ELAN: creating influence


Agence ELAN was created in January 2008, a time of extraordinary change: economic, political, social… the media sector would never be the same. What would the role and practices of PR be in a new world? Agence ELAN was born with a mission: to redefine the codes of our trade, revamp its methods and reset its standards.

 

Are we a corporate communications agency, a consulting firm or a PR agency? We get that question a lot.


A response to the two fundamental questions that clients often ask of us:

  • Understand: how can I make sense of the numerous, complex influences that impact my product, brand and company ?
  • Act: how can I influence my ecosystem to create connections between my product, my brand, my company and their communities?

What inspires us

 

We are inspired by movement. The movement of companies adapting to new rules, business models, communities and markets.

 

It’s through understanding them, keeping track of them and listening to them that we are able to build communication strategies that adapt to what’s happening now.

 

Our four guiding principles:

  • Reconcile information with communication to be in step with the media agenda
  • Win the opinion battle because companies can, and do live in accordance with society’s expectations
  • Embrace the long-term in how companies reach out, using “slow communication” that uncouples the notion of progress with speed
  • Go digital, because the way we use new technologies and the Internet are changing organizations at their core
